Why Join Our Team?

There are lots of reasons to join Friends Fighting Cancer. Not only are we supporting organizations that do critical work fighting cancer and supporting survivorship, we have a lot of fun too! Our team is open for anyone to join, so please encourage your families, friends, and co-workers to join us. Together we can make a difference. Check out the Events page for a list of events that FFC is participating in.

Friends Fighting Cancer Dedication T-Shirts

Each t-shirt has the Friends Fighting Cancer art on the front and one of three dedication blocks on the back. We have the t-shirts in every size including youth and they are $20 each.

Team Awards
2009-Winner of the Livestrong Challenge San Jose shirt design contest.
2006 & 2007-Winner of the Livestrong Challenge Philly Team Messenger Award (largest team in Philly)
2007-Winner of the Livestrong Challenge National Team Messenger Award (largest national team)

Training
Team members will be coordinating cycling and running/walking training sessions. FFC members will also participate in other large organized runs/rides throughout the summer and fall. Training schedules and organized events will be posted on each event's calendar on the FFC website.

We are looking for local contacts who are interested in planning & hosting team training rides. Please contact info@friendsfightingcancer.org if you are interested in doing this.

Team Hotel Rooms
For out of town events, we will coordinate blocks of hotel rooms.

Team Fundraisers
We encourage local teams to hold fundraisers for the events they are participating in. Team fundraisers will be posted on Event Calendars on the FFC website. If you are interested in hosting a fundraising event, please contact info@friendsfightingcancer.org or your local team captains.

Pre-Event Team Dinners
Whenever possible, FFC will organize a pre-event dinner in the host city. This is a great way to meet your fellow team members in a fun and casual environment!
